actro-60 motors
The new actro 60 range of motors is designed for large models which are typically operated using up to 32 cells and propellers of 23 to 27 inches diameter. These large propellers can be driven direct, with motor output powers of 1.2 - 2.0 kW, giving satisfactory performance with large-scale models even when their all-up weight is significantly higher than 10 kg. The actro 60 series of motors features powerful units with specific speeds of 140 and 176 rpm/V; motors with different specific values can also be produced at the customer?s request. Motors are supplied with an interchangeable propeller hub with M10 threaded shaft.

actro 60L - Motors
The actro 60L motor represents the latest development in our continuing effort to provide power plants for large-scale electric-powered model aircraft. In 1996 we introduced the Newtor4111, with a typical power output of 1.3 kW when turning an 18" propeller, followed by the actro 40-5 (typically 1.4 kW with up to 19" propellers) in the year 2000.
Since 2004 we have offered the actro 60 motors with typical outputs of 2 kW, capable of turning 26" props.
The new actro 60L motors now take pride of place in the range, able to spin propellers of around 26? diameter at power outputs of well above 3 kW. An ideal combination would be an actro 60L motor with actronic 120 speed controller and a 12S LiPo battery. Typical maximum operating currents are around 100 A.
