Willy XL RC model aircraft

Willy XL is an all-wood model aircraft intended specifically for the beginner to modelling. All the kit components are pre-cut or machined to shape, and are assembled in accordance with the comprehensive building instructions. Willy XL is designed for an electric motor of around 150 - 250 W, but can also be fitted with a 5 - 8.5 cc glow engine as an alternative power plant. In this case we recommend engines such as the SAITO FA30SH, FA 40a, FA 45-S or FA 50. Thanks to its layout and good-natured flying characteristics Willy XL makes an outstanding trainer for the beginner to model flying. The wings are of built-up construction, and can be covered in film or tissue. The model’s compact size makes it suitable both for ground take-off and hand-launching. The aeroplane is a larger version of our Willy model, Order No. 1367/00.
