A mouth-watering model for anyone who enjoys flying agile, semi-scale electric-powered aircraft, and also for modellers keen to get started in electric-powered aerobatics. The Sukhoi?s construction in yellow-pigmented high-density foam means that it can be standing on the bench, ready to fly, after just a little assembly work. The model features lightweight high-density foam flying surfaces, and its low weight - 2 kg with 12 sub-C cells - ensures that its airspeed always stays moderate. The result is that modellers converting from electric gliders will quickly feel at home with the machine. The Sukhoi can safely be hand-launched, but its laminated, well damped undercarriage also permits realistic ground take-off and landing.

The model can be powered by a range of systems from simple geared motors with 10 sub-C cells up to brushless ?out-runners? for direct drive and up to 16 cells. We particularly recommend the new, high-torque actro CL 6 and a 13 x 8.5? propeller, which consumes only 35 A on 12 cells (3000 - 3300 mAh), and thus gives extended flight times. The removable canopy makes battery changing a simple job. The model accepts standard or mini-servos.

The kit contains various vacuum-moulded plastic parts including a pre-trimmed, two-part, red pigmented motor cowl and a clear canopy with black cockpit moulding (instrument decals included).
